Sarah Heath's newbie log
Weight 170 lbs
Goals: Lose 40 lbs
1 real pullup no assist
I'm sure there will be changes to the goals.
Well I did my first official workout today.
"Barbie" 5 rounds rest in between.
Here are the stats
Gravitron assisted pullups @ 115#: 10-8-5-8-5 (I was proud of this) I need to use less weight next time.
Wall pushups watching form 10-10-10-10-10 could have done more, next time need to have my hands closer to the floor for more resistance.
Crunches- can't do full sit ups currently 15-15-15-25-32 toward the end I wanted to feel like I was working Maybe I need a different type of crunch or try to come up off the ground higher?
Squats- 20-15-10-11-10, I really underestimated my ability in this area. I have been doing air squats with bad form and not going low enough. With correct form, I need to work on these. I couldn't do the puppy version with the 20 squats.
Then I tried to jog on a treadmill. I did it for 10 minutes. I felt awkward and clumsy. I was trying to make sure I had good running form. Not sure I achieved good form. I cannot decide if the ellipitcal will be better for m goals , or if continuing the treadmill will be better. If anyone can offer advice on this I'd appreciate it
