James - we watched that fight at HQ during the crossfit seminar. Liddel's pitman, John Hackleman, came to teach us the next day. He told us he tried to lean into the camera and make a big "C" with his fingers cause he knew we were all watching. Crossfit dudes (and dudettes) are everywhere!

Cool. I live in SLO County too. What is the future set up for the Pit and SLO Kickboxing? Are they combining facilities, or just affiliating with each other?

I can't view the above files. When I mouse over the ".MPG" links, my browser's (mozilla) status bar comes up with links ending in ".unk", such as

http://www.crossfit.com/discus/messa...04764-9375.unk

Anyone know why? Obviously my system doesn't know how to deal with ".unk" files (and I'd bet money something is screwing up the works and the links are ".unk" as in "unknown file type"). I can view MPEG movies elsewhere with no problems. Any clues? TIA!

James,

Rename the file with the correct extension. In this case the extension is MPG. It should work just fine.

Thanx all,

I almost had a triple yesterday, doing the 800 m - 30 Muscleup - 800 m WOD, it started out I wondered if I was going to get to 15 reps, but I haven't been practicing, then as the set wore on I felt stronger. Mainly I focused on a good solid false grip and really squeezing the blood out of those rings, keep the hands in close to the chest and try to accelerate as you reach the top of the pull. It makes the difference between a grinding transition and a smooth, gliding one.

Good Luck Karl, it's a great feeling of progress when you get it.
