I am curious as to what the best times are these days for the 30 muscle-ups WOD? I haven't been around much for the past while and am wondering what times people are putting up.

I pulled 30 in 5:13 yesterday. They were ring muscle-ups so a fair bit easier than bar muscle-ups... but I am wondering how that compares...

The issue being I have no idea when the last time that workout happened was... nor do I know if that is really a good representation of the community as a whole. I expect it is not, as there are a number of us who don't post our results anymore.

Ian,

If memory serves, Greg Everett posted a 2 something, I think about 2:30, time before last. That stood out as the best time I've seen for 30 mu's. I'm sure I've seen several posts in the 5-7 minute range. Since I struggle to break 20:00, any time less than 10:00 sounds awesome to me. I did finally realize that many do kipping mu's for this WOD, so I'm hoping to slash some time next time this one comes up.

Two something... well then I have a time to beat. Last time I did it I finally succeeded in blistering the thick callouses on my left hand where you hang for a false grip... that killed my time for the last few reps.
Of course 2:30 sounds a lot like 30 continuous muscle ups, something which should be all kinds of fun *grin*.
