Does anyone have one? I've been thinking about McDonald's warm, crispy apple pies for a few days now :crazy:

Pre-Heat oven to 450 degrees
Slice apples
Place in baking dish
sprinkle with cinammon
add a little water to the bottom of the dish
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes

Voila! This should help with the apple pie cravings.

We've recently started having this with our breakfast. Every 1/2 apple = 1 block of carbs, so calculate from there.

maybe some almond flour? Or even crush some pecans or almonds on it. O now I am hungy.

You could make the pastry paleo friendly by using nut meal and dates.. although i'm not sure how zone friendly that would turn out as there would end up being a lot of fat in a serve. Good idea if you have upped your fat blocks though.

Some ideas here..
