We all are nervous and scared before workouts. Try and find some way to pump yourself up, be it music, videos, visualisation, something else, or a mix of everything. Good luck!

I get a lot of guff for listening to death metal at my affiliate but, I don't care what anyone says, there is no better music to lift heavy stuff to.

If I'm doing a metcon, I throw in really fast music and only think about that so I don't focus on how much I'm hurting. If I'm lifting heavy that day, I put on something as heavy as possible and think about whatever makes me the angriest. It works wonders.
