Hey Shana! I'm not doing much so don't be TOO impressed. One of the beauties of CrossFit is that you can get a WOD in without it taking alot of time! I'm looking forward to getting back to CFED when I get back though!!

I'll be packing my jumprope with me for our little family vacation to Sarasota in a couple weeks. It'll be the week before the Jax Quals, so I won't be tempted to psyche myself out by scouring the internet looking for CF Games info.

Welcome back from vacation, hope you had fun!

Have fun with your sprints and lunges....
Thanks DC! I'm still on vacay through Saturday. Eating and drinking too much but having a grand ole time.
I'll be pinned to the computer the weekend of the Jax Q...cheering you, Shana and the rest on! Wish I could be there.

Yes, work on those DU's like mad and when you come back I want to see at least 10 in a row!!!

Hope you are all having a good time. Don't drink too much red wine and eat some fresh shrimp for me.

try this WOD for fun:

4 rounds for time:

-RUN 1 minute out and 1 minute back on the beach barefooted as fast as possible (of course)
-10 HSPU's
(find a place where you can do HSPU's right close to where you will be running)
-50 lunges (25 each leg)
-25 sit ups
-25 push ups

report back to me asap
Cool WOD!!! Maybe this morning!!
I miss you too Keith! Can't wait to tear it up next week. As for the DUs...10 in a row? HA!

It's JOE!! Let's definitely hit CFED when I get back. I know that Saturdays are prob best for you.
And Haha on Keith and I being married. We get that all the time at the gym. I think it's because of the way we interact...bickering all the time like an old married couple. I could say more but it would be in violation of the terms...so I don't dare go there AGAIN!

Christin! Hi! I love how you are working out on va-cay! I thought about hitting up the 400m lunges too, since the gym here SUCKS. Good job on those!

Very cool, Jimi! I'm envious, although I'll be back in ATL cheering my son on that weekend

I love it down here on St. George Island but I really need access to a gym. We usually go to a beach (Grayton) 1 hr west of here where we have a tiny neighborhood gym. Probably the only thing missing here is a pullup bar. We came down here so my son would have other friends to hang with. I was hoping to hang out with the other parents but it hasn't worked out like that.

Today's WOD was another quick one...

Wednesday, April 8, 2009

"Crab Net Nancy"
5 Rounds of
400m Run
30 OHS w/ long-handled crab-net
Time=14:22

Practiced Handstands & DUs

ANY exercise on vacation is impressive to me! I always bring workout clothes and shoes and they stay folded neatly in the bottom of my suitcase! LOVE the idea of lunges in the sand!
