burpee breakdown

20 rep Heavy back squats @ 115lbs.

Jason, as much as it pains me, you were right... that was at least as heavy as I should've gone... and probably should've tried for 120 or 125. I'm tempted to go at it again... the bus didn't hit me and I kind of want to see what it would be like if it did... Sorry Niki, I was hoping you'd get a nice dinner out of this!

Today's WOD
BP 3x3
1 @ 85lbs, failed
3@75lbs
2 @ 85lbs, failed

3 rounds of:
300 m row
10 power cleans(75lbs)
10 k2e
time: 10:36
23 burpees

Then tried to hit 85lb 3 times again and failed
This was a tough night for me, mentally and physically.
Thanks MJ and Erin for helping me pull through!

Back squat 3x5- used 143#
Press 3x5 - used 60#- last b-day I was only able to do it for four reps, missed the fifth each time, but got revenge tonight
Pullups-strict 3x10
used red band, was able to get to 4 each round, almost 5 on the last.- can't wait till I get stronger on these

burpees 23
02/04/08-burpees 22

Jay, maybe I'll come in tomorrow for a full warm-up or something to loosen up, pretty sore right now, but we'll see. If not I will be in on Saturday to tackle the 20rep squat wod

Group Warmup: Box Jump Ladder (1 to 10)
Plyometrics Drills (it felt so good to run not on a treadmill ... can't wait for spring and outdoor WODs again!!!!!)

Bench Press 3x3
85 x 3
95 (PR) x 1 (failed on 2nd attempt)
90 x 1 (failed on 2nd attempt)
90 x 2 (failed on 3rd attempt)
90 x 3 (PR for 3 reps!)
It was great to work with Kelly on this! She is so strong and encouraging! Kel, are you on the boards?

10 power cleans (95lbs)
10 k2e
