Sasuke aka Ninja Warrior - How Well would the Top Crossfitters do ?

I love watching all kinds of fitness challenges. For those who have seen the tv show Ninja Warrior or the raw Japanese version Sasuke, know just how tough it is

I'd love to see some of the top crossfitters have a go at it. It really does test many aspects of fitness.

This question has been asked multiple times before. A Crossfitter actually did get sent to Ninja Warrior through a television contest, and I believed failed in the first round. As with any physical contest, the people who do the best are the people who train specifically for it--I'm not sure if there's anyone who hasn't trained on homemade obstacles or somesuch has ever made it past the second round, much less the first.

Well didn't he fail because he ripped a calous and it started to bleed, which caused him to slip off the bar? I remember that happening, but I'm not sure, its been awhile since I've seen the video.

A Crossfitter from Hawaii made it to LA for the semi finals. He tore his hand and could not go on. Super strong dude, there was a video posted here before. Free Runners seem to do really well.

A very few would make it. Some crossfitters are strong, but when Olympic athletes like the Hamm Bros and Jordan Jovtchev are not making to the end, shows its difficulty.

As said before, people like Nagano train for it all the time, and he has only had total victory once.

On the show, the designer said it did not bother him if all 100 contestants failed on the first round. As people get better, the course is changed.

Good luck to those who want to try. It is a great test of athletic prowess.

I grew up in Tokyo so went to look at the course once. It's a lot harder than looks on TV, but I'd love to try it. In Odaiba theres a part of the course (only about 15m long) available for people who want to try, and that was hard enough.
