Inner forearm tendonitis

I have been dealing with inner forearm tendonitis since August 2009. The initial onset happened while doing pull ups. I regularly lifted weights but never did pullups. I then reaggravated it arm wrestling in February of 2010. Needless to say I don't do either of those activiites anymore. I have be to PT and it helped some. I have not lifted a weight since February of 2010 and am itching to do so. The biggest source of aggravation is playing golf and I do not play much right now. I do some stretching against the wall and actually ran into someone who said they were a part owner of this company who suggested I get a bucket of sand and squeeze the sand off and on for 10 minutes a day. He also suggested taking an Omega 3 fish oil which I have been doing for about 10 days. Anyway and suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated. My thanks in advance.

The key to chronic tendonitis will be:

eccentric exercises

Heat may help.. and soft tissue massage ot the muscle itself (not tendon).

Other things that may help like nitric oxide patches or other things like prolo if you're really at your wits end are mentioned as well
