Exclamation Free standing pull-up bar instructions (deployed)

Hey all,

I am currently deployed in Afghanistan and need some ideas for a freestanding pull up bar. We have plenty off wood, screws, and pipe. Unfortunately, I have very limited building experience and wanted some input before i saw my hand(s) off or something.

Sorry for not searching more, the internet is painfully slow here.

Thanks in advance,

gus

The design in the attached photo was built someplace in the desert, its construction was discussed here http://www.crossfitbrandx.com/index....ply/88304/(wfs).

Ah, found it.
The whole workout area Gonzo and his friends constructed is shown on his website.

"Gonzo" from the Brand X forum posts here as "Rick Gonzales" (I think), so you may be able to PM him if you need more information.
