But I am sure some drs. use it to make a patient happy & get them out of the office.

I am getting over 2 partial thickness rotator cuff tears & a torn a labrum - I asked for cortisone and was turned down because I had already started PT - given my frustration at the time, it is possible I would have re-injured it if I got major pain relief early on. As it is, all I used was naproxen. The pain was maybe a 4 out of 10 but it was 24/7 for many weeks and worst when I tried to sleep. Naproxen barely dented it.

FYI I think earlier in the thread Darla said she was done with CF.
Yes. CF per se. I will incorporate what I can

Oh boy. I might put it off until April now. I'll know more tomorrow. It might affect my seniority at work to do it now.

I've decided to chronicle my adventures via interpretive dance. No wait. I mean a blog.

Darla, I am rooting for you! I probably should have posted my shoulder issues on this thread, but, I posted on another one. Please keep posting your progress. Glad you've got the blog also. I'm hoping I've stopped short of a tear. Your story sounds way too similar, though. Overhead stuff. Good luck!

Thanks. I had my pre-surgery screening today and it may not happen now next Wednesday. They want me to get cleared by a hematologist because I am not on blood thinners and I had a pulmonary embolism in 2004. Sheesh! I just want my shoulder fixed!
