Re: Again Faster TV and the Mic'd Instructor

Hey Guys,

Episode Two of "The Toughest Two Minutes" is up now. Check it out:

http://www.againfaster.com/again-faster-tv/

Given the interest in the squatting debate, I'm going to put together an article on my position while I'm on the plane to Baltimore this weekend. Your answer is coming, Brandon!

Best,

Jon

i'll say briefly that upright works WAY better in Olympic lifting, as well as sports.

Good stuff, Jon. I caught that article on your site before checking this thread. Food for thought. I'll be sure to get back to front squatting as soon as I plateau in my current SS cycle (which can't be too far away from the feel of things).

Re: Again Faster TV and the Mic'd Instructor

Hey Gang,

We just put up a new video on achieving the muscle up on The Mic'd Instructor. Let me know what you think. Also, if there's something you'd like to see us cover, please give me a shout at jon@againfaster.com.

Achieving the Muscle-up: http://www.againfaster.com/the-micd-...muscle-up.html (not WFS, as I swear once during the video).

Best,

Jon

Re: Again Faster TV and the Mic'd Instructor

Before Steven Low has a stroke, I would point out that turning out the rings simply assists in obtaining full ROM, but with good wrist flexibility it is possible to hit full ROM without the ring turnout. Also, turning the rings out does not automatically mean full ROM.

Not that I'm saying ring turnout is bad (perhaps it would even help with the forearm strain I've gotten from muscle-ups before), I'm just saying that the real hallmark of straight elbows is straight elbows.
