Quick Tabata Question

I just wondering is it safe or worthwhile to try like tabata deadlifts, backsquats, ect? i know we have the regular tabata bodyweight stuff... I was wondering if it would be beneficial doing weighted tabatas... Thanks

Tabata works with pretty much anything. If you're gonna use external weight be careful of form though since you're giving each round max effort (or at least you're supposed to). CF generally uses a modified version of tabata where you can aim at maximizing total reps.. but that's not "true" tabata.
