UFC, Pride, WFA, and how many others? MMA should take a look at what a joke boxing became/always was(?) and avoid the same pitfalls. The scumbag promoters, cough Don King cough, will ruin the sport by making a title worthless because there are too many belts, fighters not fighting true contenders etc. The public stopped caring about boxing and could just as easily do the same with MMA before it even rises to the level boxing was at. The downside of more money could just be inevitable but I hope not.

End of Editorial, re-commence dicussion...

Matthew --Wes Sims isn't fighting either. He was already committed to the WEC Ryan Bennett Memorial show next week and fighting in the WFA would make him unable to fight in the WEC show.

Rob -- I think right now is a weird time for MMA because so many new promotions are flooding the market, but it won't last. Eventually a bunch will go out of business and things will level out. There will be more competition than before, but less insanity than currently.
