300 Cft

Just wanted to come by and thank the CrossFit community and brag a bit on my first 300 Combat Fitness Test. I was close last year but not close enough with a 296/300. Missed the mark on the 880. Well this year at TBS I got it. My scores were,

880-2:43
Ammo can lift-97
Maneuver under Fire- 2:15

I love CrossFit and the CFF programs, I usually drift more to the CFF side but enjoy a good Angie or Fran every now and again. So thank you all for the great advice and I cannot wait to graduate from TBS and get back to my training with my wife in our home gym.

Re: 300 Cft

By the title, I thought you were saying you had a 300 pound CrossFit Total and I was a little worried about what you would have started at to be able to consider 300 pounds a testimonial. hah.

Besides that, awesome job.

Re: 300 Cft

Thanks everyone. I really hope the Marine Corps drops the PFT all together and focuses on additional events for the CFT to further gauge unit readiness. May be add a 10 mile ruck one day after the event or a swim event since we are re-designing the swim qualifications. Just ideas.

That made me feel good lol. I mean come on these guys fight for big bucks, have million dollar trainers and are scared of some snow and pain? Any one else find it funny they hesitated on the Last of the Mohicans? I thought they would charge in ready to go. No disrespect to them, thought there would be more intensity.

I didn't notice much except that massive Marine elbow to the face of the MMA guy.
