AMRAP in 10 minutes of:
5 Chinups
10 Pushups
15 Squats
Rounds: 15 + 5 cu + 5 pu

Squats were SOLID. First session in a few months where I didn't feel any low back fatigue. The conditioning work also felt a lot better than expected - lungs were fine and no fatigue in the legs like the last few sessions. Below my PR pace, and no way I could maintain that for a full 20 minutes, but overall I am pleased with where things are. Especially considering I've been fighting a cold for a few days.

Squats felt great. Cindy felt pretty good too. It's definitely not a PR but its the first 20 minute WOD I've done in months...and considering how sick I've been the past few days I am very pleased with this. Pushups are still my downfall. ungh.

AMRAP in 8 minutes of:
Tire Flip, 500 pounds
34 Flips

CJ felt really good until 240. The clean felt crisp, but the jerk was sloppy. Just a glitch - no doubt a second attempt would have been better. Tire flips were in the pouring rain and mud, but 4 per minute felt like a good casual pace that I could maintain. Definitely helped loosen things up after yesterday's workout.

Probably a good pace - have been feeling good but am still a bit stuffed up. Plus, the tire flips are a little tricky when they're all muddy and wet. hee hee hee!! It was fun playing in the mud though.

Clean & Jerks felt awesome!! HSPUs were a big suck fest. Tabata squats sucked but felt better than I thought they would. Overall, I'm happy with tonight.

Bench Press was easy - feeling really good about where my strength work is this summer. It looks like I'll have a much better base to work with for the next meet. I was a bit worried about the B2B squats, but they actually weren't too bad. Not a stellar performance, but all things considered I'm happy with it.

Probably won't take the 1100 pound tire, but we plan to have 4-5 in the 500-600 pound range.

Hi Pili! We haven't really said much about the new space, but we have approx 3500 sqft (1800 gym / 1700 lockers/showers), plus access to a pool and hot tub. It's in the heart of downtown, direct access to a running trail along the river, etc, etc. Perfect spot! Demolition started yesterday. Your new spot looks AWESOME!
