Re: My Video Interview at StartingStrenght.com

The admins have chosen to filter it out, apparently since Rip and CrossFit parted ways and he started the SS certs. Insane choice considering there is a lot of Rip's work in the CFJ and he was prettty fundmental in teaching form on the basic lifts and spreading the importantance of strength training to many in the CF community. It's not like his books or progams are going to stop being referred to by people either.

The SS Series interviews are awesome, will be watching this later, I especially enjoyed the ones with John Welbourne and Jim Wendler.

Agreed. Ridiculous choice - particularly as Rip's gone out of his way to remain entirely personally silent on whatever may have been the underlying frictions. Suspicions may abound in some quarters, but so far as I have seen there's been zero of the public statements we've seen in other dustups over the years.

There are so many Rip articles and videos available through this site, with such good info in them, I can't help but consider blocking the address of his own website like it was porn spam to be mean-spirited. And not in keeping with what has always been a hallmark of Crossfit, when it is at its best.
