7AM: snatch, clean, front squat.

1:30PM: CrossFit Kids program in effect (got my butt kicked at tag).

3PM: hit the Mactaquac loop in reverse (north to south), worked on cadence, spent more time pulling, more aggressive on the hills, making awesome time, and then Jane and I both got flats at the 36km mark. Done for the day! D'oh!

10AM: snatch, clean, front squat. Feeling well rested after nationals, lifts are fast, definitely time to start going heavy again.

12PM: 100 burpees in 4:03. Came out too fast and slowed down on the last bit. Fast recovery though!

10AM: 50km/h winds so we hit the trainer today with 60 minutes of intervals. Compared to Monday's interval session this was 15 minutes longer with a 50% increase in average watts. I'll take it. Thanks for the coaching, Jane!

12PM: the push/pull event was a big success! Lots of great lifts and personal records. Thanks to everyone for the support!

9AM: snatch, c&j, front squat.

2PM: I planned to do a threshold test on the bike, but legs came out heavy (think I'm fighting off a bug) so I decided to save it for another day. Stayed on for 70 minutes, 60% work @ 250W+, 40% recovery. Slept 12 hours straight that night, so bug confirmed.

9AM: snatch, clean&jerk, front squat, gradually increasing the weight, but still not overly heavy.

1PM: another great kids class, saved Naomi from a flat tire, and then hit the Mactaquac loop averaging 31.4km/h, awesome ride, felt strong on the hills, and then 3 rounds of 400m run + 15 chinups. Great day! Thanks Jane!

Yoga with Janer

Burton Loop. 43km bike ride. First half was great...lost some steam on the second half...stupid hills. My average moving time was still a bit higher than last time...so that's progress I guess. Beautiful day!

After about 10-15 minutes rest.
4 Rounds of:
200m Run
5 Wall Ball
5 Chinups.

Time: 7:38
I was slow movin'. ha! I'm exhausted!

Time: POOP! I forget my time. I'm pretty sure it was 8:19. D'OH! Back was pretty tight but overall ok. Felt slow but my run times were no slower than usual in a conditioning workout. HA!
