Monday Evening- Heavy PR day on OHS. After working out for the last 30 years I am always stumped by people saying they got a 30# pr.. How can that be I say.. Happy for them.. Last night I was one of those people. Previously I had OHS 215# x3 and only a 225# max. Worked from 95,135,165,185,205 all for 3 then 225 for a 2.. that was heavy.. equal to my max but for a two. My workout partner said easy weight.. so we went to 235#.. I locked that in tight for an easy 2.. then said what the heck lets go for #255.. did that pausing on the bottom for 2 reps.. might have done more... then had to get ready for the met con... 255#x2.. 30# pr day..

Metcon-
20 min
1 mile run -7:30 pace
50 OHS x50 reps- 13,12,13,12
30 T2B- 12,8,5,5
Burpees for the rest of the time.. had about 6. 5 min left.. Did 87 or so of them.

My body is beat up but still strong.. taking today off and training tomorrow hard, Thurs and Friday.. Headed to Power Monkey camp on Saturday for a week.

Wed evening Team practice... best muscle up day..

Warm up 1,1,2,2 then workout- 50 MU for time between the 4 of us.. I hit 6,5,5 for my three sets.. could have done more..

Double under practice then met con-

300 DU buy in- did 100
100 C2B- 3 sets of 12-15 reps
150 KB swings- 20,15,10 70#
100 OHS- 20 in only set-
100 burpees over the bar - 10/10/15 felt good
300 DU cash out- finished off last 100 un broken..

HSPU practice- 10 then hold hand stand position while other partner does 10 two sets of 10 reps.

Thursday AM with Tony-
Thruster work-
75x4, 105x4, 135x3, 165x2, 195x2, 215x1, 225x1, 235x1 PR!, all from ground.

Max set 135# thruster un broken- 20 reps

Pistols death by starting at 5 - 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16 or about 150 reps most so far.

T2B- Death by starting at 5- 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 was cooked- 80 reps

Getting ready to go to Powermonkey Camp on Saturday.. happy about the PR's sometimes you just have to go for it.

somehow 1 weeks of posts were erased..

Saturday-
Warm up-
5,6,7,8,9,10 wall balls and toes to bar.. min 1 5, min 2 5, min 3 6 etc.. good warm up

Snatch EMOM add 10# starting at 95, 105,115,125,135,145,155,165,175,185, 195F, 197F, 199F.. so close should have had it.

Muscle up practice- 1, 2 then Weighted 20# or so.. 1,2,2,2,2 then max set of un weighted 6..

Took off Sunday with my son.. his first comp skateboard downhill racing. Was super fun and scary for me all wrapped in one.

Sunday and Monday were off.. took some personal time.

Tuesday-
Warm up- 50 wall balls
50 T2B

Squat clean- 95,135,165,185,205,215,225,235,245 with some fails in that.

Split jerk- 135, 1655,185,205,225,245

3 rounds EMOM
11 C2B
15 Wall balls-

GHD sit ups and 80# med ball clean-
5 and 5, 6 and 6, 7 and 7, 8 and 8 EMOM...

Light and easy day..
Box jumps- 24 and 30" about 20 of them
OHS- 75 and 95# for 15 to 20 reps

Squat snatch- was feeling good until 165.. form was off... ended up hitting 175 easy then some 135's.

Row sprints 100 meters from a rolling start.

Got the OC TD #3 tonight.. gotta kill it for the team.

Thursday- OCTD #3 139.. ok but doing it again.

Then did some Split jerk after up to 260#

Warm up was OHS, DL, Wall balls, T2B and some other stuff.

Friday was running Cindy with my daughter- 24 rounds.. She did 8 or 9 and I did 14 or 15. Then some hang cleans.. was tired from driving all day.. went to Crossfit Madesto for the workout.

EMOM
Odd 10 Hang clean 135
Even 10 HSPU

4 rounds each

Then up to Chico for the CSU tours.

Took off Sat- drove 14 hours

Sunday was the Re do of the OCTD #3- Did 145 a 6 rep better with being tired.

Warm up with Wall balls and T2B.. then 75 thru 175 Squat snatch .. missed 185 poor technique. Getting better..

Broke up the C2B more and less transition time.
