Some guy was kicked out of his gym for grunting while squatting 500 lbs. Silly, really, but he's suing.

Here' the article: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/11/18/nyregion/18grunt.html?hp&ex=1163912400&en=08d8 658209aa7d48&ei=5094&partner=homepage

Erica, this was up a couple days, maybe a week ago. it's insane. but it is one of their rules. He signed up anyway. What's rediculous is that he's considering suing because he is being ridiculed. You can squat 500 pounds and you are worried about people grunt at you. Hell if I could squat 500 pounds I would walk around grunting and dare someone to do something about it. Now he's in it for the money.

Travis, I had thought this might've already been posted. I haven't been checking the board often so I must've missed it.

I can't wait to get home and get my gym up and running. I'm gonna' grunt and scream, make a little movie and send it to this guy. then ask him if he's jealous. gotta love the garage gym.

I have a dungeonesque basement gym. I work out from 5:30-6:15am. My wife says she no longer needs to set her alarm b/c she wakes up to my grunting, which she can hear through the floor LOL.

Bottom line, if you work out in someone else's establishment, you have to follow their rules no matter how inane they are.

Long live the home gym!
