Can anyone throw out some product names of the anti bacterial cleaner? I've been using simple green but perhaps too much...it is leaving a film/soap residue.

Anyone ever considered/tried a bunch of slightly soapy water and then using a squeegie to push the water out a door?

Re: Help! Does anyone have tricks?

Our auto scrubber is the best! Yes, it was an investment but now we can do the whole floor in like 20 minutes. Our floor is ~100' x ~50' so that's saying something. We do it 3 times a week and more if needed. I've got a college member running it. We add vinegar and sometimes a little bleach but nothing else. The machine captures a ton of dirt, hair, etc., and it all goes out the gym.

I was looking for a way to solve the problem of endless cleaning costs and mediocre results and this machine did it. Members are always complementing us on how clean the gym is, so it totally worth the money.

+1 for auto scrubbers, I must say that the box my girlfriend and I go to hires a company that uses a auto scrubber 3-4 times a week on the floors and it makes a HUGE difference, the place looks so awesome! I've been to boxes where every time i'd do burpees i'd have a chest full of dirt, crumbs other people's sweat etc. I felt like I was gonna catch something it was pretty disgusting.

We recently bought one of these and I love it. It was expensive ($1500ish), but completely worth it.

Re: Help! Does anyone have tricks?

Would you guys mind posting a link to some of the scrubbers you purchased? I never considered one, but with alot of positive feedback, may be a worthwhile investment.
Thanks!

What kind of flooring do you guys use this on? Rubber, wood, cement, etc.

Re: Help! Does anyone have tricks?

I use it on my rubber flooring.

It takes under an hour to do a really good job cleaning 4500 sq ft of floor space.

Re: Help! Does anyone have tricks?

Auto Scrubbers are so worth the investment, you can clean/disinfect your floors every day and still spend less time than when you were just mopping 2x a week. Your clients will be happier, your prospects will be more impressed, and you can spend the extra time building your business. If the scrubbers are too much, by far the next best thing is a trade for membership deal with a person who will mop for you =)
If you are using the black stall mats then we've found that microfiber string mops work best - they don't leave little bits of fuzz everywhere.

Cheers
Adam

Re: Help! Does anyone have tricks?

Anyone know if you can use it on wood platforms safely, without ruining the finish?
