Rotator Cuff Inflammation
So being dumb and doing 10 x 5 Reps of Pwr Snatch @ 130lbs on Monday followed by 5 x 3 Reps of Pwr Snatch @ 170lbs on Tuesday I've managed to tweak my rotator cuff.
As soon as I felt the pain I stopped training went home and iced and heated the muscle followed by wearing compression shirt to bed. Iced this morning then heated again and went to Ostopath this afternoon for mobilisation and massage. Range of motion is normal with slight pain from around 70 - 120 degrees but has significantly reduced in the last 24 hours.
My intention is to do no upper body exercises until next Thursday but after then I'm wondering what to do? Obviously need to continue mobilising but need to start building strength again by OH press - am thoughts appreciated?
