Anu, is this why I am *feeling* something in the middle of my back?

Absolutely!!! You'll feel it like right below your shoulder blades and in your back. That means your back is engaging..Keep going! Awesome job!!

Anu, this is great feedback. I'm a bit stuck (did have one DHPU) and have kinda regressed. Don't know if it's due to my not feeling 100% or if my muscles are just tired. At least I know I'm feeling things where I'm supposed to!

Re: The Dead-Hang Pull-up Society

Hey Y'all.. I have some progress to report! I got my pull up bar at home which hubby fixed in firmly in the doorway and of course, I started jumping up. It's high enough so that I can stand underneath the bar and my arms are almost straight. So, I jump up and I have to pull myself up for the 1/2 of the bar. I have never been able to do that. I've been doing one every hour since 4pm. So, 4 for the day today and boy, am I tired!!!

That's exactly where I'm feeling it! Thanks so much. It coulda been the push-ups, the filthy fifteen... I changed what I was doing somewhat and felt it in my forearms for the first time, then later, a little soreness just as you described. At least I must be challenging the right muscles. ;-D

I couldn't do one dead hang when I started CF back in April... Sometime over the course of a lot of GTGing on the assisted pull-up machine and with bands I've gotten up to 8!

You all rock! Keep up the good work!
Thanks, Carla! Same goes for you!
