Re: Pendlay Elite Bars

I used the Pendlay Elite for "Elizabeth" (cleans and ring dips) without a shirt today. By the way, 6:57 nearly a 2 min PR, I love this bar. Previous bars that I have used that had a center knurl really ripped up my neck and chest. I did not notice the center knurl on the the Elite bar at all. Glenn made it soft enough that it does not cause the same problems.

Re: Pendlay Elite Bars

I second this. I PR'd on Elizabeth by almost 3 minutes. It wasn't just the bar obviously, but the spin of the bar feels great and definitely doesn't hurt the time.

Re: Pendlay Elite Bars

Ahmik has both on his crossfitsocal website, I only have the Economy and Pendlay lines on my website, not the Pendlay Elite yet. You can order one from Ahmik, or call me at 940 224 9841 if you want the Elite, the Pendlay version is at the store at which is a work/wife/kids safe link! The Elite versions will be on my website soon, its just the holiday rush that is keeping me from taking care of little things like that!
