Looking for pics of 1500sq_ft facilities

Hello folks,

It looks like I'll be in a 1500sq_ft box. So, I'm looking for ideas on layout. If you have good pics/links to places about that size, please post them and I'll check it out.

Thanks...

howard

look at as many affiliate sites as possible.

Large or small, you may be able to pull ideas from the many pictures they post.

Re: Looking for pics of 1500sq_ft facilities

Check out our site www.crossfitpc.com and click on the WOD. There are some good pics in there. We have about that size space with bathroom and shower included in there. The best thing I did was to keep the layout ridiculously open. Pull-up bars are mounted into the wall with no poles going into the floor. This makes for more use of the space and at least makes it feel bigger. All our equipment is on the sides of the space so that we can pull out what we need to when we need it. It makes it so you can change up the space for whatever kind of workout you are having. Hope that helps some.

Re: Looking for pics of 1500sq_ft facilities

Hey Chris,

Wow, what a bright box with all those windows. Very nice. And the bars on the wall look very cool.

On your 9/30/08 WOD, there is a good picture of your pullup bar design. Is all of that drilled into wood studs or concrete? And is that just galvanized pipe or something different? And what kind of connectors are used (especially between the pipes)?

edit: ok, I think they are just T-connectors but offset now that I look at it. Are they screw-in or compression fit?

howard

p.s. Thanks for all your help at the WKU cert in Sept.

Nice Gym Chris, i like the way you mounted the bars on the wall. two questions for you, what are you using to hold your bumpers, and how did you build your pullup bars?
