Starting For newcomers to the CrossFit methodology

I have always been fit and I am always looking for new ways to stay in shape. The funny thing is some of the things you guys I do the same. For example: Ill do 5 sets of 10 pull-ups, 50 squats, and like 20 push-ups. Usually people look at me like Im crazy and some are curious enough to ask for my work out regime. Im glad I found some people who like to mix it up and find new ways the build the core. Jason

Welcome Jason. You will definitely find kindred spirits here. There is a lot of variety to keep the body constantly trained and never really being allowed to stay at a plateau. High intensity is the key with routines geared towards keeping the full body simultaneously active and not segmented like you will find in some other exercising forms. That is the key to keeping the whole body strong and the overall stamina consistent as you continue to push through your boundaries. Keeping the core strong is also the key in helping to be able to push the envelope.
