Eva, this one is all yours! I gave it a go...and lets just say that I need some time. You have to be careful with your lower back. Almost make yourself kyphotic so that you don't pinch your lower back.
I was able to do one that was not so pretty. My arms have to stay closer to my head since I'm not strong enough to put them way out in front.

If your primary trying to work your abs, I've read it's better not to go quite as low. I was looking for a pic, but couldn't find it. I'd say hips were 3-4 inches higher. The last few inches of the movement really hit the back. THis is if you want mainly abs, for a full rollout obviously you need to go the full distance.....

Yeah, Krista's way isn't a fully extended rollout, but it looks like it might be an effective way to get there like doing them from the knees (which is the only way I can currently do it).

thanks everyone -- i'm the one who posed the question in jim's blog and i figured it's probably about time i join the msg boards here, even if i'm not doing crossfit per se. if there is nothing online now i guess i will have to make it a goal to get something online! well, first, to get a standing rollout.

Did anybody get this yet? If so, I may have a photo op for you in a couple weeks (on my barely-read website, so don't get too excited.)

I can do it from my knees as well, but barely.
