Hey guys! I am a Sailor stationed in Japan and have been doing crossfit for a couple of weeks now and I just wanted to say hi to all the fellow crossfitters around the world, I was told about CrossFit by a friend that is now at BUD/s and it has drastically changed my approach towards working out, I never felt better.

Thank you

Paul, where are you stationed? I was a Marine on barracks duty in Sasebo back in '89-'91. I hope you do not do what I did and wast all your time on bars and women and experience some of the culture and sights (and women). Enjoy!

Im stationed in Yokosuka,
I mostly spend my time at work and the gym but I went to Tokyo and Yokohama and all the major turist attractions, its fun and the culture is very interesting.
My goal is to go through BUD/s and become a SEAL unfortunatley training does not leave much free time in the schedule for anything else.

The only time I was in Yokosuka was for my check in at the barracks (the group of Marines in Sasebo was, is I guess, as detachment from the main barracks in Yokosuka). Good luck on the BUD/s training, I have not actually started Crossfit yet, but from all the things I have tried through the years, this will probably prepare you better than anything else out there. From what I have read, there seem to be quite a few SEAL's that use Crossfit, that says alot for the method in my opinion.
