Re: Coming Back from a Bad Weekend of Eating

To minimize the damage just start eating right again. You're only one meal away from getting back on track...

Re: Coming Back from a Bad Weekend of Eating

Hey Brook,

I've been there before myself.. LOL

What I do, when I am feeling really down about any food choices I have made, I use my juicer. I'll make a green juice with cucumber, celery, kale, golden delicious apples and a pear. Then sprinkle in a teaspoon or two of Chia seeds and you'll be back to normal in no time.

But the other posters are right, you have not done any "damage" ..

Really people? It takes at least a few years of unhealthy eating before someone is at danger of actually being in danger.

Dang. Jeramy just gave the reason i've been looking for to describe why i can't do paleo.

Some of you guys are just so daggum abrasive about it. Yeah it's a lifestyle, but why you gotta dog on someone for gettin off track and letting loose, or dog on people who dont even try to do paleo?

calm down dude.

Re: Coming Back from a Bad Weekend of Eating

I wouldn't sweat it at all. I just went to Panama City, FL for an entire week on vacation with the wife and kids and I ate like complete crap almost the whole time plus drank a few beers. *gasp*

I lost 2 pounds. How the hell does that happen?

Anyway, the day we got back I started clean eating again and voila!! Back to normal.

Re: Coming Back from a Bad Weekend of Eating

By "back to normal" I meant that I didn't exactly feel all that great during the time that we were in Florida and I was eating like crap. My body felt the worst it had felt in 6 months. The first day eating clean again, I could definitely tell the difference.

Re: Coming Back from a Bad Weekend of Eating

I drink 1, if not 2 nights on the weekends. I don't go out and each a pizza at 2am or anything like that, and I try to stick to Jack or vodka and water instead of beer, but I still get the feeling that it's the biggest downfall to my training/attempt to lose my belly. Which annoys me, because I mostly go out w CrossFitters on these weekends who don't seem to have the issues I do w belly fat.
