Anyone still using MEBB for training/programming? Or have you moved on?

Just kind of wondering if many individuals and groups are still be rocking the MEBB/max effort black box template, or has everyone moved on to things like conjugate or sites like outlaw?

Last time I was programming for myself, it was all the buzz, seems like now not so much. The most recent threads I could find searching were pretty old, and without much conversation.

I ask mostly because I wonder if it is still considered worthwhile. Also, reading Chris M's article in the CFJ regarding Conjugate CF, the two seem pretty similar. I am going to plan some specific strength work this year, in combination with WODs at a box, and am just playing catch up on the knowledge gap.

Thanks,
D

Gonna take that as a no... I'm about 1/3 of the way through the CFSB thread and I think that will be fun to play with.

There are far better options than CFSB these days.

5/3/1, GSLP, or gyms like Outlaw and Invictus that post programming.

I have been doing the competition programming by Invictus for about 9 months. I have had great results. The programming is very thourough and well thought out.

Im bringing this back because Im curious, why do you think that GSLP or 5/3/1 are better?
CFSB or something similar seems like good programming to develop strength but at the same time doesn't neglect the other areas.

Re: Anyone still using MEBB for training/programming? Or have you moved on?

While CF MEBB was ground breaking at the time, other programs have proven to get better results in mass than the old MEBB template. GSLP is one of those, and 5/3/1 also seems to be great adaptability to CF.

So while Eric suggests more popular programs, MEBB and CFSB still produce great results, maybe just not as fast as others, or laid out easier to understand.
