100 Kilos Baby!

Hey all, Im not really a regular poster here anymore, but I thought that I would share (....brag about...) a milestone I just hit.

I finally hit a 100kg (220#) snatch tonight! I had been working hard toward it for the past three months (ever since Dmitry Klokov did a seminar at our gym).

Link is wfs - shamelessly linked from my blog....

I know its not a perfect lift, a few self-critiques:
1 - I could probably slow the first pull down a bit, and speed up from there on.
2 - I feel like my back is in a better position when snatching, but I clearly need to straighten that out!
3 - Mobility work would probably give me the flexibility to get lower, and snatch more.
4 - Its a pretty modest PR, probably didnt need to spike the bar like that!
5 - I am well aware that I could stand to lose a couple of pounds as well!

Thoughts and tips appreciated.

Good lift for a PR!!

I would add to your list, lower your hips at the start position. Your hips start really high, then you shoot them up causing you to jump forward. Otherwise, good stuff!!
