135# clean and 155# clean form check??

I am self taught on all my lifts. The 135 felt easy!! And the 155 if 90% of my 1 RM.

Please critique!!!

Re: 135# clean and 155# clean form check??

The Good:
Setup- Tight off the floor. You are slow off the floor, not yanking the bar. Just look straight ahead, not up.
Recieving position- Upright torso, you bring your hips as you stand up.

Needs Work:
Bar Path- Right now you are moving the bar around your knees, causing the bar to go forward. You never want the bar going forward. Push your knees back and out as you bring the bar into your hips. This bar path does not allow you to get full extension on your second pull.

Footwork- right now you are jumping too far backwards. A little movement back is okay, but your's is excessive right now. This is probably caused by the bar path off the floor. It also causes you too float, instead off aggressively pulling yourself under the bar.

Right now work on 3 pos. cleans (going from the high hang down to the floor) and clean deadlifts to mid thigh. You can see videos of these on Catalyst Athletics website.

Early arm bend.
Not waiting to get into the proper position for the 2nd pull.
