better shoes for CF

i just joined a box(very excited), i have a pair of nike running shoes i could wear or my vibrams. since i never done crossfit wod's in a box before i was thinking the nike's for better support. but i just love my vibrams. does anybody have any input??

Just wear your vibrams for most of everything. The only WOD I don't wear my vibrams for are those with heavy olympic lifting days like OHS, C&J, Snatch, etc.

Merrell barefoot trail gloves. Can oly lift, run, and sprint in them without hassle.

Otherwise, get a separate pair of olympic shoes. They are great for stability and safety purposes.

Vibrams. Most versatile. THe only thing you might not be able to do with them is box jumps, if they decide to stack a plate on top for extra height (I ran into this once) or I find them unfomfortable to row in. Otherwise, good to go. No compression in the sole, so great for lifting and otherwise perfect for just about anything.

Most people ive seen wear vibrams, nike free's, or innov8's.

I wear the NB mt101 and love them. They are great for everything.

Reebok had a showcase of their new line of shoes on display at the Regionals this weekend:

If you can source a pair of Nikes get them, they are the best available at the moment imo
