I just tried a one-legged straight-legged deadlift and found it incredibly difficult. Start with a light dumbbell and lower it to the floor while keeping your back in a plane. Requires balance and the use of your entire core to lower and raise a very light weight.

It's really hard for me so I like it. Try Bulgarian split squats too.

Great exercise. Just make sure it looks something like this:

You should not look like you're doing an old-fashioned toe-touch calisthenic.

Also do a search of the boards. There are some really good threads about SLDL vs RDL. (Stiff-leg vs Romanian DL).
