Re: Just cued three day1 CF newbies through there first MU's!

The secret ingredient - was me

Haha nah

One of them was a almost Royal Marine another had a soccer scholarship to the US and the third had done gymnastics (never on rings or hardcore equippment) as a kid.

At least thats what i found out after i started digging into there backgrounds!

So one soccer guy mentions the MU after pointing at the rings. I explained it was hard, how to false grip and a few other cues. He goes at it a few times doesnt quite manage it... i tell him another day m8.

About 10 mins later the ex-gymnast asks about it - same process but i think he got it on the 2nd go - AND came quite close to getting a double!

The almost royal has ago about 10mins later and after about 10 tries nails it!

About another 10-20 mins go by and soccer player "says ive GOT to get that now" and about 6 tries later BOOM!

I was about a hour of

And the ultimate irony - I STILL DONT HAVE MY DAMN MUSCLE UP YET lol!

Although i got freaking close after getting stokked watching those guys!

I think MU's were in the air!

Haha. I think I always possessed the strength to do a muscle-up but it was way more technique than I realized. Keep tryin', dood!
