im looking to improve the number of my dead-hang pullups. anyone know any good pullup program or other good ways to improve them. i do kipping pullups, dead-hang pullups, and weighted pullups.
also, are there any other exercises that would help? would bent-over rows or military presses help at all?

keep reps at 5 or below
greece the groove
stay away from going to failure

*use weights!*- the minute you can do more than 5 without weight, start adding weight- that was probably the single best peice of advise I ever got!

thanks joesph and jason. definently going to use your advice and websites. im thinking im going to mix weighted pullups and dead hangs with the armstrong program. the armstrong pullup program link didnt work so i did a search and found it. here it is if anyone is interested:
http://oneweb.utc.edu/~semperfi/physical.htm

i also came across the recon ron program:
http://webpages.charter.net/bert/reconron.html

if someone doesnt mind explaining, how does going to failure affect you? does it slow your progress or something?
