Today's WOD

Being new to Crossfit I'm not sure how to judge the proper weight to use when doing for example the shoulder press 1-1-1-1-1, the push press 3-3-3-3-3 or the push jerk 5-5-5-5-5. are these met to be done using maximum weight to failure or is there another recommendation?

Thanks for your input.

Re: Today's WOD

I'm new to crossfit aswell. From previous reading around on the website I take it to be as much weight as you can do for reps stated.

Re: Today's WOD

No question is a stupid question. Duh

When the exercise calls for 3 reps you should barely be able to get 3 reps.
If it cals for 1 rep it should be a max out at 1 rep
Lots of people cheat and do a warm up set of 3 and call it one round complete
Shouldnt work that way.
If you do these WOD's correct you will be wiped out when done.
Dont stop asking questions - there are a lot of people willing to help you out. There are a lot that will bust your chops also - so be sure to read a lot about the exercises and demos.
Good luck
