Seeds

"Meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, etc. etc..."

Raise your hand if you eat "seeds."

Re: Seeds

I eat my share of sunflower seed kernels. How are pumpkin seeds? I haven't had them in a long time but I was thinking about giving them a shot.

Re: Seeds

Pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds...have both on hand right now. Sometimes I make a trail mix that consists of dried blueberries, nuts, and the aforementioned seeds.

Re: Seeds

I think 1/4 tsp. sunflower seeds is 1 fat block. Don't know about pumpkin seeds blocks but:

1/4 cup of pumpkin seeds is 296 calories, 24 gms. of fat, 8gms. of carbs, 19gms of protein.

Re: Seeds

Don't forget quinoa. Also a seed, a delicious, nutrient dense seed.
