Re: Cheat Meal on Saturday

Thanks so much Joe (Matthew), CVS had 'em shining bright on the shelf. I felt like Moses coming down off the mountain when I had them in hand. 1/2 of one cup was all that I could manage as well. And yes, my teeth were chattering afterwards. Not the best cheat food, but sure fun as hell.

Re: Cheat Meal on Saturday

I had a petty good "cheat day" the other day that didn't leave me feeling bad ... I felt awesome and will definitely do it again!!

I call it bacon day.
So I got up on Sunday and started to make breakfast ... knowing that I was going to make some "big batch food for the week" later that day, I put 5 whole packages of bacon in the oven. I ate about 8 pieces with breakfast. Then a little while later had another piece. Long story short, I used 1 package of that bacon in my "big batch" and ate the rest. Just a piece here, two pieces there, 5 pieces somewhere else, all day long with or without a meal. It was awesome. I saved two pieces for a snack before bed and slept like a baby. Everything else was normal ... just add bacon to excess and often.

For me right now, this was a pretty good cheat day as I'm tracking all my food for a eating challenge. I didn't track that bacon but it had to be 1500 cals if not more. I probably would rather eat an entire pizza or some candy ..... but this was a pretty good feeling "cheat" and did not leave me hung over or jonesing for something else.

Re: Cheat Meal on Saturday

I had a cheat week last week after my Superfit competition. I had everything from pizza (twice), chinese food, 5 guys, a half gallon of ice cream, wings, Halloween candy and a ton of other stuff. Took it easy on the wods too, then I had 1rm box squats Monday and hit 440#...I'll take it. No more cheats for a few weeks though.
