I'm a personal trainer and assistant Southern Kung Fu instructor based in NYC - one of my clients referred me to this site 'cause she thought I might appreciate it; that was a severe understatement.

I just got USAW-certified over the summer, so I learned those Olympic lifts just in time! Looking forward to WOD's... my fitness manager is pretty excited about the site too. Might start an epidemic here!

Hello Ernest:

Welcome again! Where do you do your training (self or others)?

CrossFit NYC usually uses the space at the Trainers' Place (East 86th), but we're always looking for CF-friendly places to work out. (Trainer's Place doesn't have bumper plates, for instance; otherwise OK). We also meet in Central Park for the occasional outdoor workout.

Come on by, or drop me an e-mail and we'll connect you with some others in the group.

Hey guys... would definitely love to come check you out.

Work at the Equinox Fitness club on Greenwich Ave. Wouldn't say it's that CF-friendly, but my manager did mention something about getting rings... we'll see how that goes.

David, will be in touch.
