Limited Leg Usage

So it turns out that I've had a high ankle sprain for the past 2 years. I finally went to get it checked out, and I'm now dealing with a Physical Therapist to get things back to where they need to be. In the meantime, I'm not allowed to perform any lower body movements short of walking and biking (I'm going to check on rowing). I am cleared to perform movements such as the shoulder press where my legs will be supporting extra weight, but not actually doing work. In addition, my groin has been bothering me, so I'm hoping this time off will clear this up as well. I've only been crossfitting for about a month, and I may have ramped up a bit too quick on the squats.

My question is, can anyone recommend some decent workouts (named or otherwise) that I can do that are strictly upper body, including core? Last night I did 10 sets of 5 pull-ups, 10 pushups, and 15 sit-ups for time. Workouts similar to that with usual crossfit intensity, but lacking lower body movement is what I need for the next month or so.

If anyone has any suggestions on workouts, or where to find workouts that may fit the bill, please let me know.

Thanks in Advance.

Brian

Re: Limited Leg Usage

Thanks Mike, that's a good start. I may actual try to pull that one off in the hotel tomorrow night, I just have to find a place to do pull ups. Granted I can't bench my bw once, so I'll be dropping that weight, but I can certainly make that work.

Is there a place that lists ALL of the girls/ hero workouts? I know there's a bunch of them in the exercise demo section, but that's not all of them I dont' think.

Re: Limited Leg Usage

Michael, that is sadistic! I hate that WOD.

You could do pull ups and dips, pullups and GHD's, pull ups and inverted pulls on the rings, pull ups and DB man makers. Just make sure that your two or thee exercises are push/pull.
