Basded on what i've seen I don't think Bj is taking this fight seriously enough, just like when he fought Matt Hughes the second time.

What are the Vegas odds of that? Could be a big payday.
How about a double "touchless" knockout? That might be a little suspicious.

Re: GSP vs BJ Penn? Comments?

I think the judges like slams - that's how GSP won the first one because overall BJ had everything else going for him. BJ on his back or in the mount - he's one of the most dangerous people in the world.

If you watched the special last night, and watched the fight of BJ's after the one with GSP, you'd have seen BJ can hit pretty darn hard, and that was a really bloody fight.

I agree. If you look at the first meeting in the context of a fight, BJ won. If you look at it as an MMA contest, I think the multiple takedowns in rds 2 and 3 is probably what got GSP the win. Either way, a rematch makes all the sense in the world. 5 rounds to settle it...can't wait.

Making a prediction in this one is borderline silly, but I'm going with GSP.

Yes, BJ has been talking like he's taking this one to the death, but he also knows how to promote a fight. He said some terrible things about Sherk, then was all hugs and kisses immediately after. He's selling PPV's for Dana.

Ha ha, very true. Sherk did not know what hit him.

BJ lost, because unless you actually submit someone from the ground you're going to lose points. Most MMA judges don't reward you for nullifying an attack from your back, it's what you're supposed to do.
