Always funny to see.

I for one, refuse to shave my chest. I think it is manly, and (much more importantly) my special lady friend does as well.

Congrats on the gains. 30lbs and 4 inches is awesome. And you've just begun.

Good job dude. Weight loss aside, your body comp has clearly shifted for the better. In my experience having trained a few people in CF...you might be pretty close to what could be called a "tipping point". Its a point where (provided you stick to a good zone diet) you've build enough muscle mass and work capacity to really plummet the fat %. Of course it no guarantee, it works differently for different people BUT I think you are just about to turn a corner. Stick to the plan!

Very true I can't wait to see what a full year of training brings me to. Just the simple fact that when I play softball now I am not winded after running to 1st base. My whole team has even noticed my increased speed... Its a great feeling

Re: My Wild Adventure - Pics as well

August 17, 2008

Day 145

WOD:

15-12-9
95lb Thrusters
Pull-ups (Assisted with Black strap from Iron Woody) x 3 (45-36-27)
Bench Dips x 3 (45-36-27)

Time: 28:03

Should have done the Bench Dips at x 4, But I was unsure of myself. 95lb Thrusters are the heaviest I have done so far and man did they kick my butt. At the beginning of the 3rd round I was feeling good. After the Thrusters I was beat! I could barely convince myself to do one Pull-up!! It was really rough. But I managed. Again the biggest thing holding me back is the pull-ups. But they kind of feel like they are becoming easier. Just wait till I drop down to the Blue strap from iron woody and feel the pain all over again with pull-ups. Can't wait to drop about 20lbs so that pull-ups become so much easier. This next week I should really see some weight loss - Adding interval running to my workouts.

Michael - are you working out at an affiliate or are you doing this on your own?

I'm currently doing this on my own. I would love to be working out at an affiliate but my current schedule does not allow for the amount of travel it would take, plus money is tight for me being a college student.
