Post pics of your home/garage gym

I've been shopping around for items to equip my future garage gym--I need a garage first--and thought others may be interested in a thread compiling pictures/ideas to help get started. I'm planning on using only half the garage at this point. I've bought a C2 rower, jump rope, and rings. I've also been admiring the Pendlay women's bar mentioned in another thread and some bumpers.

I realize there are other threads but one-stop shopping is always nice.

Thanks ahead of time.

Re: Post pics of your home/garage gym

I think this was a thread like a month ago or so. Also this thread that is recent is not pictures, but it has lists of what people have. I have not posted pics of mine yet, but will once I get them taken.

Theresa,

Here is a link to a Picasa album of some pictures of my gym (wfs):

http://picasaweb.google.com/sailorcr...ey=0_hiDSIqr-8

There are two ares, one is 12' x 13' where the cage is and the other is about 7' x 12' where the treamill, ghd and some storage is. There is not a lot of room but I have everything I need and room enough to get it done. Sometimes, like the Filthy Fifty, space is at a premium but I just move stuff around. David.

Hey David - You have some nice equipment in those pics.

Did you order everything over the net or do know of a local place that has plyoboxes/dynamax balls/ kettlebells?

Very nice! Where did you get the cage?

Re: Post pics of your home/garage gym

The cage and the treamill were the only items I bought locally. The treadmill is a Landice. The cage is a KeysFitness, the wfs link:

http://www.keysfitness.com/index.php...s&model=KPS-PC

I bought it locally in Salem, NH and it's perfect. The height fits fine with the ceiling, I have it centered between the joists. I have easily done over 10,000 pullups on that over the last year or so and the joists have never been a problem.

Everything else from the 'net. Jon Gilson, Rogue Fitnesss, The Gym Store plus some finds on eBay. The clock is easily my favorite item, besides the bar and bumpers. Here's the clock, wfs, link:

http://store.titlemma.com/platinum-pro-timer.html

Yeah, it's a bit pricey but I lift mostly alone and it fits the bill perfectly. Besides, I don't have any other vices so discretionary money goes to gym stuff or stereo stuff. I just got a pair of Klipsch La Scalas that I shoehorned into the gym. They go earbleeding loud if you want but they sound great.

That clock is pretty cool, and once I found out it has a remote, it became even cooler! I'll stick with my Nike watch though!
