I got it!

I even have a video of my 4th muscle up and a video of my 6 year old daughter showing her pullup (both of low quality due to brightness enhancement and compression, but what the heck, you can see the movements).

But how can I upload the videos? Every time I try, the upload widget works, but then the formatting codes for including the files are removed from the posts due to size limitations (the files are 2.7MB and 1.6MB).

Anyway, my advice to fellow CrossFitters: make sure your rings are not set too wide. I just moved into a new house where I have the opportunity to set the rings into the basement ceiling, at 50 cm width (the "official" width for still rings). Before that, I would plug my rings into the mounts of my daughter's swing, at what was maybe 100 cm width in about 3 m height. I am convinced that made quite a difference.

Cheers,

Christian

I can't answer your posting video question, but congrats, Christian..! Another CF'er in the MU ranks! The list is growing fast...

Of course, you all realise that this is the sort of thing that keeps making the WOD harder. Won't be long now before we'll see weighted MUs in the WOD, I'll wager...

OK, another browser, another try, and this is the error message I receive again: "One or more of the images or attachments you uploaded exceeded the maximum allowable upload size (which is 300 kilobytes). These images or attachments have been removed from your post. If you would like to include images or attachments, upload new files after you make sure that the size is not greater than 300 kilobytes."

The funny thing is, I get the message *after* I upload the files on the server, meaning that it does not seem to be a very efficient denial-of-service protection implemented here. How in the world do all the other videos get on this board?

Wondering,

Christian

Christian,

Have you tried uploading it to somewhere else? If you just go to upload.video.google.com or Google "Free Video Hosting" (keep the quotes), you will find all sorts of places to upload it.

Then, just place the link here. Simple.

Hopes this helps.

Post away. You've got up to 5 Meg to work with now.

Ah, thanks Brian!

Here are the videos ... both are AVIs.

Video of my 4th muscle up:

Video of my 6 year old daughter showing her pullup:

To repeat, both videos are of low quality due to brightness enhancement and compression, but what the heck, you can see the movements.

Cheers,

Christian
