Epic Bars (Paleo "Protein" Bar)

Figured I might as well share this with everyone..

http://www.epicbar.com

I was looking for a quick Paleo snack that I could pack with me on trips like long airport layovers and what not and came across these.. ordered one of each and they're amazing! What do you all think?

Few things that stick out to me:

1) Grass Fed Beef / Bison
2) Very low sugar compared other bars
3) High protein / quality fat

Not a fan of egg white protein or chopped and formed beef jerky, both of which are "processed and incomplete" proteins sources...

Re: Epic Bars (Paleo "Protein" Bar)

While I like Steve's products the best (I'm a huge jerky fan), my wife hates jerky (should have asked her before I married her ).

She's beginning a very intense education program while still working in the fall and we are researching food items she can eat on the go from work to school. No microwave is available so the food needs to be edible cold and non-perishable.

Fruit and nuts are an obvious choice she wants to get some protein in the mix, I'm ordering the sampler of the bars for her. The next option might be Quest bars, they have why isolate and aren't loaded with sugar.

I'll report back when they've arrived and we've done a taste test.

Clif Builder's bars are the shiznit. They taste great. I eat one most mornings pre-workout, or just if I need something to keep me from devouring junk food before mealtime.
