New Guys Workout Log
Hi Everyone, first post on here!
Having discovered CF just a week ago I have been ploughing through scaled WODs as best I can but im still adjusting and find it difficult to do even the 'puppies' pullups!
A little about me to introduce. I am 24, 85kgs (weight goes up and down very quickly) and in the military. I have spent the last year focusing on running with and without weight, and although fairly fit I have been quite shocked in the gym! Whilst at university I used to do 'beach weights' and spent hours isolating muscles infront of the mirror (hideously embarrassing now!)
My goals are to vastly increase all round fitness, with a special attention to cardio capability and endurance and core strength.
I hope this Log will serve as a long history of my CF journey, as I start at this very low level!
So today.. my first logged WOD (I have completely others but scaled and played with them a bit too much to count):
A.M - Barbara - 'Puppy Scaled'
Three Rounds, for time (3 min break between rounds)
5 Pull Ups
20 Push Ups
25 Sit Ups
I am good for everything but the Pull Ups, infact I feel I should not have scaled so much on the other exercises... just those damn pullups!
P.M - CFE Interval Running
3 Rounds of:
05: 10 (5 seconds on, 10 seconds rest)
4% Gradient at 16.5km/hr
Feeling Good, Bring on tomorrow! Stiff Legs though..
