Workout of the Day Questions & performance regarding CrossFit's WOD

I finally got those KBs I kept asking everyone about. I know a few here are going to slap their hands on their foreheads, but I got the Gills. I am very happy with them and do all the different exercises. I know that if I had already messed around with a DD, I would probably have to go with one of them. Since, I never had one, I went with what I could afford best.

Anyway, since my new Chief runs his agency based on ego instead of intellects, we're now on rotating shifts. Yes, it really sucks and I really wish this Chief (I really use that term lightly) would retire soon.

Anyway, I'm on days now, so I can't get to the gym, unless I want to get there at 5:30 in the morning, when all the yuppies are there or after work, when I'm tired.

So, I wake up at 5:00 and make up exercises.

Here are but a few of excercises I've come up with.

For time:
All KB exercises are one pood.
20 snatches L+R, 5 Dips.
15 " ", 10 " ".
10 15
05 20

Time: 13:35.

For Time:
1 pood
Clean, Press and Overhead Squat Ladder to eight and down.

Time 38:00.

This was more time consuming than it was a cardio burn.

Ladder with 1.5 pood 1 through 5 snatches, L+R
Between each set, 45 seconds of jump rope.

Ladder with 1 pood 1 through 10 snatches, L+R.
Between each set, 45 seconds of jump rope.

I didn't time this one, but it rocked.

Kris' Man Maker:

25, 20, 15, 10, 5 L+R Swings.

Between each set, 2:00 min. Jump Rope.

20, 15, 10, 5 L+R Snatches

Between each set, 2:00 min Jump Rope.

Time: 36:22

This exercise rocked.

Kris, there will be anew line of KBs from KettleBell Concepts available soon, you might want to stay in touch with them for future purchases.

The new KBs are not the ones currently shown on their website (they hopefully will be in soon).
