I've only used powders for pre or post workout shakes (and for a morning breakfast shake in a hurry) for a few months now, but I use that "Designer Whey", it's not super cheap, like ten bucks for a can, but it seems good to me. Plus it's got no MSG.

David-

Been a few (maybe six) years since I've used their stuff. I would find something you like, or a few things you like (Designer, EAS, MetRx) and ask the PF guys for suggestions. I did this with them, and came up with a pretty great product. Don't know if they are still that available for comments, but I bet they are. Questions are sometimes more than taste- do you like a particular 'feel'? They'll help you with that. Their ingredients are at least as good, and with the choices you get, FAR better than anything you can buy off the shelf. Lastly, I'd order small quantities to start until you figure out your preferences.

David;
I've used PF for off and on for 4 years, great company, solid website, good prices. Alex is the owner, easy to reach via email or phone. I will mention, that since switching to Paleo and eating meat again (was veg for 20 years), I've stopped talking protein powders as I get more then enough from food. I do order liquid egg whites from a local bakery, great way to get 26 grams of protein per cup. Other then that, all protein from Meat/Fish.

I buy 20 kg bags of 95% whey protein without taste or any kind of additives at all. That's the best choice in my opinion. I pay about 440$ a bag.

Whey is the cheapest, least efficient of the proteins.It's the "lost leader" of the Protein companies. Remember, you get what you pay for.
BTW, if no additives, what's in the other 5% out of the 95%.
BTW, would also guess the Bulk Whey is coming from China. Good luck.
