Any recommended brand for wheat bread/pita/bagel?

It seems all the labels I look for have over 15 ingredients that are crap! I did manage to find a few but was wondering what you guys used.

I'll second that, Frank. I use the flourless sprouted grain bread from Trader Joes. It tastes pretty good and is a dollar something a loaf (i want to say $1.79). Just keep it in the fridge if you use it a bit infrequently like i do. It will go bad VERY quickly if left out.

Not to be an or anything, but bread is best reserved for the birds. From a health and fitness standpoint, bread is bad news...no matter what grain or form it is in.

I love food for life's sprouted grain breads. I know a lot of CF guys don't eat any bread but I still enjoy a slice of toast with almond butter on it now and then.

Sprouted whole wheat is still the typical whole wheat right, just the process changes?

I have to agree that bread is not good for performance diet. I love the stuff but trashed it coz it takes up much needed space from protein or fat.

Sprouted whole wheat is nt the same as typical whole wheat.

It's made with sprouted grains and not made with flour.
